Deep Blue Crew
In December 2024, the Deep Blue Crew will take part in the World’s Toughest Row, a 3000-mile rowing race from La Gomera in the Canary Islands across the Atlantic Ocean to Antigua. The international race sees crews from across the world come together to battle the ocean and each other in one of the most gruelling endurance races in the World.
Despite it being a race, the event brings with it a real sense of camaraderie and mutual respect for those who share the same dream, and the bravery and determination to go after that dream.
The daily struggles of the crew will be balanced with amazing wildlife encounters and a true sense of pride as they embark on the ultimate journey of self-discovery.

Tusk
Tusk aims to accelerate the impact of African driven conservation to improve the current and future prospects of all African wildlife and its relationship with the growing culture and population.
Tusk has been at the forefront of wildlife conservation in Africa since its inception in 1990. With a core focus on protecting Africa’s iconic and endangered species, such as elephants, rhinos, and lions, Tusk implements a multifaceted approach to conservation that addresses both the immediate threats facing wildlife and the underlying causes of habitat loss and degradation. Through community-driven initiatives, Tusk works closely with local stakeholders to develop and implement sustainable conservation strategies that not only safeguard wildlife but also improve the livelihoods of people living alongside these animals.
One of Tusk’s key strengths lies in its commitment to education and awareness-raising. By engaging with communities, schools, and the broader public, Tusk aims to instill a sense of pride and responsibility for Africa’s natural heritage, fostering a culture of conservation across multiple generations. Through its extensive network of projects and partnerships across the continent, Tusk continues to make significant strides in protecting Africa’s wildlife and habitats while promoting the coexistence of humans and animals.
We will leave no stone unturned in the relentless pursuit of this goal as we fund, guide and enable the smartest, most efficient MND research to catalyse a cure for motor neuron disease.
